Stopped into this bar a few months ago on a friend's reccomendation...I loved it and have been bringing my friends in from time to time. They always make us feel right at home, the food is very limited but very good and the beer is amazing! Only the best Belgian and German beers are served on tap.
I love this place!!!

Stoped in this old time favorite during a recent trip to the Southeast side of Milwaukee and met the new owner. Very nice and one heck of a cook. I tried a combination plate that was the best all time german meal I have ever tasted. I will be back with friends in the very near future and would highly reccomend this place to anyone.

Now that the miserable prick Burkhart is gone maybe this place can draw a true beer lovers crowd again. No question that he had some of the finest beers I've ever tasted.

Port of Hamburg has the absolute freshest German beer this side of the Nordsee. I'm told they serve German food on the weekends, but I've never been there at the right time.
Apparently Port of Hamburg is about to change hands, but the only change planned is that the new owner, being Irish, will serve Guinness. Everything else will remain the same. (Gott sei Dank!)

We stopped in a few years back and found the place to be dirty, as well as the lines. Unless there has been a dramatic change, stick to Landmark and forget about this place.

This was the original import bar in Milwaukee, before it was trendy. Lots of German beer on tap. Across the street from the airport!
